Fountain University, Osogbo, has recorded another notable success story as one of its graduates, Iyanda Ahmed, recently announced his appointment as a Lecturer in the Department of Journalism, Broadcasting and Media Studies, Faculty of Communications and Media Studies, University of Lagos.

Iyanda Ahmed, a graduate of Mass Communication from Fountain University and the current Public Relations Officer of the University’s Alumni Association, shared the announcement with excitement, describing the appointment as the beginning of a new journey in academia.

According to him, teaching goes beyond classroom activities and represents an opportunity to nurture a new generation of communicators capable of using media as a tool for development, social change, and impact. He noted that his core interests remain Multimedia and Digital Journalism, as well as Communication for Development, areas through which he hopes to contribute meaningfully to scholarship, the media industry, and society at large.

He further expressed enthusiasm about the new phase of his academic career while opening the door for collaborations, research engagements, speaking opportunities, and professional partnerships.
